The Raptor Foundation - B & B Woodhurst - The Raptor Foundation - Come and stay with us!
From humble beginnings The Raptor Foundation has developed into a renowned establishment for the protection, treatment and rehabilitation of raptors. However, the foundation also affords thousands of visitors each year the opportunity to interact with and gain a greater understanding of these fascinating birds of prey.
B & B:
As part of the on-going improvements at the Raptor Foundation, we have 5 self-contained B & B units. The units contain :
double bed or two single beds
double sofa bed (surcharge for additional beds)
bedding & towels
The B & B units are ideally suited for any visitors who wish to attend our twilight flying sessions and are unable to travel back in the evening. They are also suited for anyone attending our experience days or simply for anyone who wishes to visit us & surrounding area and would like to have somewhere to stay the night.
In addition to our B & B units, we also have a small basic camp site. The camp site currently has access to a toilet & water. As with the B & B units, our camp site is available to our visitors and to anyone who simply wants a place to camp. The cost per night for the camp site is £5 including a visit to the centre (£4 without the visit). Breakfast is available from 10-12pm.
In 2002, our new tea room, looking out onto the centre, was opened. The tea-room is open daily, serving a selection of hot and cold foods, from 10.00 am through to 3.30pm. From 3.30pm until 5pm the tea room serves drinks and light snacks.
Please contact us to find out more about the availibility of the B & B units. The cost of the B & B is £35 per night. Breakfast is available from 10-12pm.
