  • Sinnington Common Farm - B&B York - Working family farm offering ground floor, en-suite bed & breakfast accommodation.
    The ground floor accommodation adjacent to the farmhouse comprises one double and one twin room (bunk beds are available). Each room has its own separate outside entrance so guests can come and go freely.

    The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with colour TV, en-suite bathroom with bath & shower, radio clocks, comfortable chairs and a kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The twin room has full disabled facilities and has been given the seal of approval by various wheelchair users.

    The rooms have uninterrupted views of open countryside and overlook a paddock where ewes and lambs often graze. Meals are served in the farmhouse dining room (special diets are catered for by arrangement) Most of the meat is home-produced.

    In addition, the area has an abundance of pubs and restaurants serving good quality food.

    An amazing amount of museums including Eden Camp (the only modern history museum of its type in the world), Ryedale Folk Museum (Hutton le Hole), the James Herriot Museum (Thirsk) Beck Isle Museum(Pickering)& Malton Museum to name but a few.

    Directions to our farm: from the roundabout at Kirkbymoorside on A170 continue 1 mile towards Pickering take theright hand turn signposted Great Barugh, Normanby and Marton. The farm is 1 mile along this road on the left-hand side. For the small cottages you need the entrance after the bungalow, "Bruno's Lodge" and Penny's Place" are clearly named. The farmhouse is the next entrance. "Innisfree" is the other side of the road but you need to pick up the key from the farmhouse.
