Atlantic View Cottages are family owned and family run and provide
home from home comforts .The cottages are newly constructed traditional
style.The cottages are 1 kilometre from Doolin village, and have panoramic
view of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. We are close to the Burren and
the Cliffs of Moher.
Your children's needs are catered for by the provision of a playground equipped with swings, slide and seesaw. The playground is fenced in and equipped with a gate so your child can play in safety.
Doolin is a special village in Ireland's County Clare. It is Ireland's traditional music capital, famous for spontaneous Irish music sessions.
The village is a place of great beauty and tranquility, where one can get away from the hustle and bustle of every day living.
Each house is designed with:
Two / three / four bedroomed / ensuite showers, continental quilts and linen supplied. Centraly heated for maximum comfort, convenience and low running cost by availing of night time low rates.
Each kitchen is fitted with electric cooker and microwave oven, dishwasher, washer/drier and refrigerator, while all the cooking utentils are supplied.
Each cottage is a perfect example of old times meeting new, you can relax in front of a blazing open traditional fire whilst enjoying colour television in the lounge.
A cot is also supplied on request.
Each house has double glazing throughout.
The cottages are situated at an ideal base to explore the Galway City, Connemara area and the South to Kerry and Killarney, which are only ninety minutes drive from Doolin. You can explore the Burren (meaning Great Rock), a remarkable area of limestone and unique flowers. In addition the Burren has many tourist attractions like the under ground wonder of Aillwee Caves or the nearby spectacular Cliffs of Moher.
A visit to the Aran Islands is only 20 minutes on the Doolin Ferry.
Lahinch Golf Course There is opportunity to play golf on the world renowned Lahinch Course 8km away. There are many sandy beaches within short driving distance.
