The Struy Inn, dating from the latter part of the 19th Century, is situated in Strathglass, close to beautifull Glen Strathfarrar. It is only a short distance from Glen Cannich and the National Nature Reserve at Glen Affric. Loch Ness with its numerous visitor attractions, and Inverness, the capital of the Highlands are both just a 30 minute drive away.
Proprietor and chef, Mr Douglas Brown, invites you to join him and enjoy a wide range of dishes freshly prepared from the finest ingredients, using local produce wherever possible. The Inn also offers excellent accommodation, at very competitive prices, allowing you to stay and combine superb cuisine with all that nature has to offer on our doorstep.
Enjoy the tremendous scenery, climb the Munros, fish the river and lochs, walk or cycle on forest tracks and at the end of the day enjoy the relaxing, cosy atmosphere of a blazing log fire, quality food, and an excellent selection of malt whiskey's and liqueurs.
Only 20 mins from Loch Ness & 35 mins from Inverness also situated in one of Scotlands most famous glens, especialy for munro baggers & keen bird watchers.
The Struy Inn is set amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in the country and is ideal for those seeking to explore the great outdoors. There are a number of activities that our guests can enjoy.
The rivers and lochs in Strathglass and the surrounding glens provide superb trout and salmon fishing. Fishing can be arranged locally. Fishing tackle and boats for the lochs are available for hire. The services of ghillies can also be arranged.
At nearby Aigas there is an excellent nine-hole golf course. Half-set club hire and refreshments are available from the club-house.
Cyclists and mountain bikers will find plenty of opportunities to explore the area. The roads, although narrow in places are relatively quiet, and there are numerous forest tracks catering for cyclists of all abilities. Cycles are available for hire.
The Strathglass area is popular with walkers of all abilities. There are a number of waymarked walks in nearby Glen Affric, while the glens give easy access to the Munros.
Although there is no skiing locally, the slopes at the Cairngorms are only an hours drive away, making Strathglass an ideal base for visiting other parts of the Highlands.

The Inn has 4 double bedrooms to let, the three upstairs rooms share facilities - shower, bath and toilet. The room on the ground floor has full en-suite facilities.

All rooms £25 per person per night - no single supplements!
Dinner, Bed & Breakfast - £40 per person per night.
