  • Meadow Park Bideford - Homely en suite accommodation and traditional ‘farmhouse fare’ that will help to make a memorable stay.
    Meadow Park Bed and Breakfast accommodation is spacious, centrally heated and comfortably furnished. Three double rooms and One twin-bedded room.

    Set on the outskirts of the village of Buckland Brewer in North Devon, it provides panoramic views over its own farmland to the distant hills of both Dartmoor and Exmoor.

    From the house you can take a leisurely stroll through Buckland Brewer where you will find an old world pub, village post office and stores, the Anglican and Methodist churches and many quiet lanes offering scenic walks.

    Accommodation can be provided for up to eight guests in all ground floor en suite rooms having extensive views. Three double rooms and one twin- bedded room each equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and colour television. A comfortable lounge is available at all times and guests can enjoy relaxing in the garden. There is ample off road parking.

    A full English breakfast is offered with options for the smaller appetite. Local produce is used wherever possible. Excellent food is served at the local 13th century thatched Inn within walking distance. Other recommended restaurants and country pubs are within close proximity.

    An ideal location for visiting the North Devon/Cornwall coast, RHS Rosemoor Gardens,Tarka Trail and world famous ‘Clovelly’ with its cobbled street and harbour.

    Great Torrington - The historic town of Great Torrington is less than six miles away, where you can play golf or take in the views from the Commons. Two places worth a visit are the RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the Dartington Crystal Factory and shop.

    Bideford - Approximately six miles to the north is the market town of Bideford where fishing and cargo vessels moor at the quayside. Bideford quay is also the departure point for the MS Oldenburg which provides day trips for visitors to Lundy Island.

    Barnstaple - Barnstaple is around 15 miles from Buckland Brewer; its busy markets, wide range of shops and award winning floral displays attract visitors from miles around.

    Appledore - Near Bideford is the quaint fishing village of Appledore with its history of ship building.

    Westward Ho! - On the coast is the sandy resort of Westward Ho! with its famous pebble ridge and golf course.

    Clovelly - This famous coastal cobbled village is approximately 12 miles to the west as is the charming coastal village of Bucks Mills.

    Eden Project - The acclaimed Eden Project would make an interesting day out being approximately a one and a half hours drive away.

    National Trust - Inland are the National Trust properties of Arlington Court and Knightshayes, with several other properties within accessible distance.
    Exmoor/Dartmoor - Visit this vast expanse of moorland for peace and tranquility. From Buckland Brewer both Exmoor and Dartmoor are ideal day trip locations.
    North Cornwall - Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel (home to King Arthur) and numerous Cornish beaches are easily accessible from Meadow Park.

    Exeter - this famous cathedral city is approximately 1 hour drive away providing extensive shopping facilities.

    Family Attractions - The Milky Way and The Big Sheep provide popular family entertainment both indoors and outdoors.

    Coastal Walks - You can walk along the rugged coastal paths of both the North Devon and North Cornwall coastline with its magnificent views, coves and picturesque harbours.

    Surfing - There are a number of excellent surfing beaches in North Devon and the northern part of Cornwall, notably Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Widemouth Bay.
