  • Greystones Farmhouse B&B Newark - 17th Century Character Home
Greystones is a charming and comfortable former farmhouse dating from circa 1620, which offers outstanding non smoking guests accommodation in the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside.

Extensively beamed throughout this delightful 400 year old property has great charm and character - the most notable an original Jacobean staircase. The spacious Fleur de Lys room offers ensuite facilities, a beautiful French sleigh bed and a comfy sofa in which to relax.

The Rennie Mackintosh suite has a seperate bedroom with brass bed a cosy sitting room, and private bathroom with both bath and shower. Both rooms have television and hospitality trays.

A freshly cooked English breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Thoughtful little extras such as pretty china, fresh flowers and crisp linen add to the ambience of this proeprty.

Ideal for visiting both Newark and Swinderby Antiques fairs or the historic city of Lincoln. Sherwood Forest Clumber Park and Eden Hall Day Spa are all close by. T he area is a paradise for antique hunters with many dealers and centres nearby. International Antique Fairs are held six times a year at both Newark and nearby Swinderby.

Eden Hall Day Spa, golf, sailing, gliding, karting and horse riding are all locally available. An abundance of country pubs and restaurants can be found in the area - the Kings Head at Collingham is a firm favorite where an excellent and varied menu is available.
