  • South Trew Log Cabins Devon - Top End Luxury Log Cabins
This is a new venture. We have built only 3, fantastic log cabins - the real thing - 8" logs - warm in winter, cool in summer. They are set in an extremely beautiful area with outstanding panoramic views stretching about 12 miles to the north west corner of Dartmoor. If you want a real holiday from the hustle and bustle, this is it. Set in 11 acres there is plenty of room to relax. Each cabin has its own private patio, and you can park your car right alongside.

Having previously been a riding school, our accommodation offers stabling and paddocks for your horse without the restriction of a formal stabling organisation, although you are just as welcome if you don't have a horse to bring!

Ken and Sandra welcome you to these three beautiful log cabins, all self–catering. The surrounding scenery makes for outstanding views and the area is so peaceful you won't want to leave. The atmosphere at South Trew is not commercial in any way – we want your holiday accommodation to offer peace and tranquility.

The local countryside offers plenty of opportunities to get out and explore on foot or horseback – the spring and autumn months are especially good for riding the bridleways. The famous Tarka trail borders South Trew and there are an ever increasing number of bridlepaths in the area as the Government is encouraging the provision of further riding facilities in the West County.

If you feel like leaving your horse behind for the day, you can enjoy the freedom to do some sightseeing, safe in the knowledge that your horse will be waiting to greet you on your return.

The local village is handy for its public house, The Golden Inn and its shop/post office.

Please see our website for more detail - and phone Sandra to chat about the cabins and your holiday.
