    The property is approached by a leafy farm lane off a B road, recently completed to a very high standard having the benefit of under floor heating and all modern conveniences.

    In peace and comfort of the highest quailty and cleanliness where you will enjoy a slower pace of life from the Black Mountains to the golden beaches. This area has inspired artists and photographers with its abundance of wild life, history and landscapes. The area is also know as The Garden of Wales having the National Botanic Garden just 4 miles away and Aberglasney just 3 miles away. Carreg Cennen, Dinefwr and Dryslwyn castles are also just a short drive away.

    The property sleeps 8 in four double bedrooms, one with on suite shower room and a further bathroom for the other 3 bedrooms.

    This beautiful conversion, originally a cowshed which housed milking cows and their calves, has been converted with architectural flair to provide a large sitting / dining room with spectacular views over the lush Towy valley and ample room for 8 people.


    The SITTING / DINING room measures 35 ft long with a mezzanine gallery and large french doors opening on to a patio and large private garden. Two chocolate brown leather setees seating 4 and 3 and a matching armchair provide comfy seating. A TV with freeview, DVD, radio and CD player, table lamps and a gas log burner make this an exceptional room. You can admire the views while sitting in an armchair.The dining area near the french doors has a dining table and seating for 8.

    You enter the property via the fully fitted KITCHEN with original and exposed beams. You will find a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and all the crockery and cutlery you may need for your stay.From here you enter the gallery which leads to 3 bedrooms and the bathroom.

    The MASTER BDROOM has a king size bed, the original and exposed beams and steps leading down to the on suite shower room which has a quadrant shower, wash basin and WC.

    The SECOND BEDROOM has 3 ft twin beds, the THIRD BEDROOM has a double bed and the FOURTH BEDROOM which is apprached via the sitting room has 3 ft bunk beds. All bedrooms have matching bedroom furniture and beds are made up for your arrival.

    The BATHROOM on the upper level has a large corner bath, washbasin and WC.Towels are provided but please arrange to bring your own beach towls.

    We do not allow smoking in The Barn, however you are welcome to smoke in the garden.

    One well behaved dog welcome within the rental price.

    The Barn overlooks the Towy Valley and Dryslwyn Castle with views for miles from the Black Mountains to the National Botanic Garden of Wales. It is surrounded by green fields where our cows and calves peacefully graze. Our nearest town is Llandeilo, well known for its art galleries, quaint tea rooms, antique and craft shops six miles away.

    Carmarthen, the historic town of Arthurian ledgend, has a large market specialising in selling fresh local produce and the usual supermarkets. Many of it's smaller shops specialise in quality goods. The town has excellent sprts facilities and golf club.

    There is an abundance of Welsh castles, including Carreg Cennen, Dinefwr and Dryslwyn near by. Newton House and Deer park owned by The national Trust is at Llandeilo. Pembrey Country Park with its dri ski slope and toboggan run, pitch and putt, narrow gauge train all set in 500 acres of beautiful countryside on one side and one of the best beaches in Wales on the other. Horse riding, walking in the quiet countryside, bird watching (red kites, kingfishers, herons to name but a few. Golf course at Carmarthen,swimming, relaxing, having a beaty treatment or driving a quad bike or 4 by 4. It's all here, lots to do and see or just be.
