Owners, Richard and Gillian White have completely restored, and decorated this beautiful property built in 1902, retaining nearly all original features.
This is a very clean and comfortable, non-smoking, 4 diamond rated guest house.
There are eight bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suite bathrooms, colour TV, hair dryer,beverages and biscuits are provided, and wireless internet facilities. Iron facilities are available on request.
Breakfast, of which there is a choice of either cooked or continental, is served in a conservatory which overlooks the rear garden.
The main entrance, and private car park, are accessed from the back of the property.
The Edwardian Lodge is situated on the A345, about 1/2 mile north of the city centre, and market square. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the centre via Castle Street, or alongside the river Avon. The guest house is about a 12-15 min walk from the city centre, either via Castle Steet, or alongside the River Avon, and the Cathedral a further 5 mins beyond the market square. Old Sarum, the ancient city ruins are situated 1 mile north.
The Edwardian Lodge Guest House is a family run business, with the house dating from 1902. It has been completely refurbished and beautifully decorated carefully preserving all original features. The accommodation comprises of four double bedded rooms, two twin bedded rooms, one family room which has a double and single bed and a single bedded room. All rooms (which are non-smoking) have a colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and all have en-suite shower, toilet washrooms; additionally each room is very spacious and has a dressing table and wardrobe.
At the back of the property is the main entrance and a large private car park, and alongside a new extension which is owner occupied. Also, there is a spacious conservatory / breakfast room giving good views of the garden.

Avebury is the largest stone circle in the world: it is 427 metres in diameter and covers an area of 28 acres. A great ring of 98 sarsen slabs enclosing two smaller circles of 30 stones each and other settings and arrangements of stones.
There are eight bedrooms, all with their own en-suite shower/toilet rooms, and all are centrally heated and double glazed.
