    As a new conversion we have designed The Old Manse Barn to offer contemporary flexible bed and breakfast accommodation. The secluded position with extensive rural views offers a private retreat for a couple looking to get away from it all. The availability of wireless broadband makes it ideal for those on business travel. A warm welcome is guaranteed on arrival. With its own drive, parking and entrance; you are free to enjoy your stay in privacy.

    The first floor apartment's queen size bed is the perfect place to watch the night sky and wake to the sunrise or just to get a good peaceful night's sleep.

    An added attraction of a small kitchen provides essentials such as kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave oven, plates, glasses and cutlery. Fresh fruit, cereals, ham, cheese and local produce are provided for your breakfast in the apartment. Ideal if you need to leave early, or prefer a relaxing start to your day.

    The lounge area features a leather sofa and chair, TV with Freeview, DVD and CD player. Surround sound is included for your enjoyment.

    Cockfield lies 7 miles from the historic market town of Bury St. Edmunds, famous for its Abbey ruins and gardens. Lavenham, just 4 miles away, has been described as one of the finest medieval villages in England with its historic buildings and streets. Tudor townhouses mingle with small crooked cottages. The splendid 16th century Guildhall of Corpus Christi (National Trust) dominates the Market Place.

    Ipswich for shopping and football fans.
    Newmarket for horse racing.
