The Russell is an attractive detached building dating back to the 1930's. A small road is all that separates the front garden from the trees and greenery of Peasholm park and on cooler days the same view can be enjoyed from the comfort of the guest lounge.
A licensed bar and conservatory is situated to the rear of the building which catches the sun for the greater part of the day.
The Russell offers ten comfortable ensuite bedrooms, including two family suites which provide separate and secure sleeping accommodation for two and three children. Cots and bed guards are also available for younger children.
All rooms have complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, clock/radio and flat screen televisions. Hairdriers & irons are available on request.
All bedrooms are furnished to a comfortable standard with cleanliness and hygiene being a priority.
Meals are served in the guest dining room. A full breakfast is included whilst Dinner is optional and may be ordered on the morning of the day required.
All food is, as far as possible, locally sourced and purchased on a daily basis.
The Bar stocks a good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Picnic lunches are also available, to order on the previous day.
Guests of all ages are welcome and special requirements are catered for.
Many local areas of interest are easily accessible from The Russell.
