  • Aisling House - B&B Brookeborough - NITB (Northern Ireland Tourist Board) Certified - Quality accommodation in a beautiful countryside location, where guests can chill, enjoy the countryside, the Loughs, the lack of traffic and the craic!
We relocated to Fermanagh in 2004. With the help of the best local builder we built our dream home with an idea of offering high quality accommodation in a beautiful countryside location, where guests can chill, enjoy the countryside, the Loughs, the lack of traffic and the craic!

We both love motor bikes and in particular Ken loves the fact that all the Irish road races, including the “North West 200”, are within an easy ride away. We also enjoy that, within 30 minutes, we can be on the beautiful Lough Erne in our boat.

Aisling House is only 12 miles (19 km) from the lovely shopping town of Enniskillen and at the same time only 20 miles (32 km) to the border with Eire.

    We offer
NITB (Northern Ireland Tourist Board) Certified Accommodation
    • 3 stylish bedrooms, furnished to a high standard, all ensuite, with TV and welcome tray to include tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.
    • An upstairs mezzanine area with a large comfy sofa; a place to sit and read -
    • Breakfast and optional evening meal in our lovely sun room with spectacular countryside views.
    • If you return from your day out in need of some light refreshment, you may well find scones or cake on offer with your favourite cuppa! -
    • leaflets and information on local events and wireless internet connection
    • Garage parking for motor bikes and ample space for car parking.

Breakfast, the most important meal of the day! We hope to cater for all tastes, however if you have a particular dietary preference, just let us know before your arrival and we will endeavour to provide it. We appreciate that not everyone wants a full Irish breakfast!

We do have a small pet dog – Mac, who simply adores people! The other “guests” we have are an assortment of birds that come to feed off the bird table and seed holders!

Whether you are a biker, a walker, a fisherman, or into boating or cycling, you will enjoy all of the wonderful scenery Lough Erne has to offer. Whether visiting National Trust properties, or simply experiencing good shopping, Irish pubs or lovely coffee shops, Fermanagh has it all.

For budding chefs, the world famous Belle Isle School of Cookery is close to Aisling House, and offers amazing short courses on Irish cuisine.

Ken can give bikers information on some of the “must-do on a motor bike” journeys, including of course to Portrush, where the famous “North West 200” takes place.

For energetic walkers part of the Ulster Way is close to hand, but there are also many more gentle strolls by the Lough or through the forests. However for real walking pleasure and to get rid of the cobwebs, we would thoroughly recommend the beautiful Donegal coastline, taking in some of the amazing beaches with rolling Atlantic waves. Why not take the plunge and try a lesson or two in surfing!!!

If you enjoy boats, then take a trip to Carrick on Shannon. After strolling around the lovely shops, check out the many cruisers based at the marina.

Also, a recommended visit is to the Ulster American Folk Park just outside Omagh, to hear and experience the migration in the 18th & 19th Centuries from Ulster, of many families hopeful of making a better life in America. There are a series of live events every season.

If you would like to find out more about Irish lace and China then visits to the Lace Museum at Bellanaleck and the Belleek China Shop are a must.

Just across the border in Bawnboy, County Cavan, you will find the home of the famous Pope Benedict XVI mohair teddy bear. At Irish Bears you can visit the Gift shop and workshops of Anke Morgenroth who is the founder of this famous centre for hand-made mohair teddy bears and other lovely hand-made gifts.

There really is so much to see and do, we can only suggest you come to Fermanagh and the surrounding counties, and experience it for yourself.

We do have leaflets in Aisling House informing you of what’s going on and places of interest in our local area.
