Since the First World War the house has been used as a school, then a hotel and health farm, until 1984 when the present owner David Hodby took over and undertook extensive restoration work.

All set in 140 acres of countryside on the border in wales. Hay on Wye is just one and half miles away, a twenty minuite walk to visit reputidly the book capital of the world. It has 35 book shops which includes the worlds biggest second hand book shop, antique shops and a market every Thursday.
Built in 1839 as the Baskerville's family home, set in over 130 acres of our own Welsh countryside overlooking the River Wye and the Brecon Beacons National Park we have virtually unlimited free parking. There is space for field sports and games, forestry for 4x4, paintballing and orienteering. We are near the River Wye for canoeing and rafting, etc. The Brecon Beacons are nearby for horseriding, leisure and initiative training.
