    Beacon Valley Breaks - Tynewydd Farm Self Contained Cottage, Lodge and Studio is a character full comfy base, easily accessible for visits to theatres, concerts, and sports events in Parc Bryn Bach, Beaufort, Merthyr Tydfil, Brecon Beacons, Hay on Wye, The Cardiff Millennium Stadium, and the sandy Mumbles coastline - There are local pub/restaurants which serve good food and other restaurants and major supermarkets a five minute drive away.

    Situated at the south foot of the Brecon Beacons, the Self Contained Cottage,
    which sleeps 6 and adjoins the owners' cottage, was built in 1720 and was originally a traditional 'Longhouse' family farm - one of the oldest buildings in the area - and now the wee remaining paddock is run by the owner as an animal rescue centre - and cat boarding.

    The self-catering detached Pine Lodge which sleeps 4 was shipped over from Finland and built to live in all year round - has a feel of Noah's Ark about it.

    The self catering Studio is a first floor annex of the main cottage, which
    sleeps 2/occasional 4, lovely views of the surrounding hills

    With national parkland areas a short walk or drive away, people with an
    interest in wildlife, history and the countryside will find a lot to do locally.
    Or maybe just relax in the private gardens.

    If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, and an excellent base from which to explore surrounding areas of outstanding beauty, Tynewydd Farm is an ideal choice.

    :: Tynewydd Farm Cottage
    Situated at the south foot of the Beacons this centrally heated double glazed stone farm house was built in the early 1700s, and was originally a traditional 'longhouse', where livestock were housed at either end, now you can honestly tell folk your sitting room was a pig sty!
    Sitting room colour TV / VCR / Radio / Cassette / CD Player. Wide choice of books, games, and videos.
    Fully equipped kitchen dining room with Dishwasher. Steep stairs to 1st floor shower bathroom and bedrooms - not suitable for the infirm.
    Sleeps 6 - 2 double bed rooms, 1 twin.
    Secure storage shed for bikes, skis, surfboards, also Garden Furniture, and barbeque equipment etc.
    Entrance porch - for outdoor shoes / coats.
    Comfy beds with duvets and pillows provided.
    Children and pets welcome.
    Perfect mobile reception.
    Landscaped gardens, for wild life, with furniture, BBQ, and parking within grounds.
    No smoking within the Cottage.

    :: Tynewydd Farm Lodge:
    Situated in the woodland area of the grounds, live in all year round cosy Lodge - secure shed storage with, garden furniture, BBQ, and off road parking.
    Steep paddle stairs to 2 twin bedrooms limited headroom 5'6 - not suitable for the infirm.
    Fully equipped and furnished - 2 bedrooms - open plan sitting/dining room - TV/DVD, radio/cassette/CD, selection of books/DVDs, fitted kitchen with Dishwasher, ground floor shower bathroom.
    Children and pets welcome.
    No smoking within the Lodge.

    :: Tynewydd Farm - Studio:
    Access via short staircase to first floor, not suitable for the infirm.
    Fitted open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room, with sprung sofa bed, and TV/VCR, radio/cassette/CD, selection of books and videos, shower bathroom, double bedroom.
    Children and pets welcome.
    No smoking within the Studio.
