Glangwili Mansion. Luxurious boutique style Bed and Breakfast / Holiday Home, situated on the edge of Brechfa Forest in the beautiful, yet largely undiscovered, Gwili valley.
Glangwili Mansion is now lovingly restored and remodelled to a representation of its former glory by the current owners George and Linda Reid, creating the perfect haven in which you can relax, unwind and enjoy the many delights of rural Carmarthenshire.
Lying a few miles north of the bustling market town of Carmarthen, Glangwili Mansion is the ideal location from which to explore a variety of visitor attractions including The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, award winning beaches, magnificent castles and the Ancient Township of Laugharne. There are majestic castles, golf courses and hundreds of acres of wild forest on its doorstep. Only a short drive away you'll find some award-winning beaches, too. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the verdant idyll of neaby Aberglasney Gardens. The Ffoslas and Pembrey Circuit offer high- energy thrills within half an hour's travel. After all that excitement, you'll find that the fantastic pubs, restaurants and cafés in the area make a great choice for a refueling stop.
Three bedrooms - all en-suite
Rates - £95–£110 per room, including breakfast.
Each of our three rooms has a distinct and unique ambience. A warm and cosy atmosphere has been lovingly created, with objects gathered from local artisans and quality suppliers in Wales to ensure that your stay with us is both comfortable and relaxing.

Soft, fluffy dressing gowns and slippers, flat screen televisions with DVD’s and seating areas for lounging. Tea and coffee making facilities, flasks of iced water and hair dryers are standard in our rooms.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children under 12 years old.
Prices quoted are inclusive of full Welsh breakfast. Please deduct £15 off the room rate for single occupancy.

Check-out - 11am, with some flexibility.
Breakfast is served from 8am–9am during the week and 9am–10am at weekends. It includes a wide selection of Continental options, and hot breakfasts to order: traditional full Welsh or vegetarian. There are several very good pubs in the area, serving excellent home cooked food and also an award winning restaurant in Brechfa, approximately 4 miles away.
Brechfa Forest begins at the end of our drive, so pack stout walking boots and head for the hills. It’s always a good idea to prepare for all weather conditions; even in summer, conditions can be changeable.
Guests are welcome to use the landscaped garden to play croquet, boules or just relax on the terrace.
For evening meals, the nearest pub serving good home cooked food is The Railway Inn, Llanpumpsaint (3 miles away), or if you would prefer a restaurant experience, Ty Mawr Country Hotel in Brechfa is another option (5 miles away).
Alternatively, if you would prefer to stay “at home”, by arrangement, for parties of four or more, we can provide a delicious three course meal with coffee at a cost of £25 per head, served in The Gwili Room. If possible we would like 24 hrs advance notice to discuss menu options.
Self Catering Apartment:
Our recently completed self catering apartment offers luxurious, contemporary living space in a beautiful rural environment for up to six people.
The apartment comprises of three large en-suite bedrooms, a dining area and a spacious kitchen/lounge with a south facing breakfast patio.
We welcome children of eight years and over. Please ring 01267 253735 for details on prices and availability. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the accomodation we are unable to accept dogs.
