    Unique cottage accessed by a well maintained farm track, set deep in the countryside, water is fed from a natural spring and energy is supplemented by using alternative energy with a water turbine, solar panels and a wind generator.

    Overlooking farmland in peaceful countryside where time stands still, this delightful cottage lies in the undiscovered rolling hills of South Shropshire boasting a wealth of natural history, including - Badgers, Bats, Jackdaws, Jays, Woodpeckers, Buzzards but to mention a few that are regularly seen. Residents at the five acre property are rare breed chickens, pigs and sheep.

    Bishop's Castle is a small, attractive Border Market Town boasting the famed brewery pubs 'The Three Tuns' and 'The Six Bells'. Its history and origins date back to the 12th century. It is built on a steep, south facing hill with provisions for excellent food, shops, a weekly livestock and general market regular flea markets and auctions....

    Surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty, provides a unique center for the exploration of the South Shropshire uplands. The 'House on Crutches' Museum, sited in one of the towns oldest and picturesque buildings, deals with the history of Bishop's Castle. Down the high street are buildings belonging to every period of the town's history from the 16th century to the present day. There are an interesting selection of shops, including antique, craft shops, book shops, butchers, bakers, ironmongers and many more, there's something for everyone

    Each town event is unique in character. The MAY FAIR is a tradition going back to when the fair was the occasion for hiring and firing and it is now back in the centre on the playing field. RUSH BEARING FESTIVAL is centered on the parish church with a midsummer celebration which brings together folk music and Morris dancing. TANDEM TRIATHLON, an amazing event of swimming, running and tandem riding. The REAL ALE AND FOOD FESTIVAL reveals Bishop's Castles brewing skills with an opportunity to sample some of the best hospitality in England. BANKS HEAD BACCHANALIA, is an old fashioned fair featuring unusual open air theatre. MICHAELMAS FAIR includes vintage, classic and steam vehicles, street entertainment and a range of crafts and activities.
