  • Swallow Cottage Nr Fishguard -
Originally built as part of Gellifawr, when a large working farm. The swallows still return in May and build their nests in the eaves of the buildings! It was fully modernised to a very high standard in 1999. It is insulated, fully centrally heated, well equipped and has new kitchen and bathroom.

Swallow cottage is ideally suited for a couple looking for a comfortable break away from it all. It has a double bedroom and in the lounge a double sofa bed. Also, if required, a crib can be provided. All supplied with bed linen, pillows and duvet's. There is a TV in the combined dining room and kitchen, which is well equipped with an oven & hob, microwave, fridge and electric kettle.

The modern bathroom incorporates a thermostatic power shower to provide an invigorating start to the day and secure car parking is right outside.

Gellifawr Hotel and Cottages are located in the beautiful Gwaun Valley about four miles from the coast and beaches at Newport Sands. The area in which they are situated is designated a site of special scientific interest

Gellifawr is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, but is less than two and a half hours from the Severn Bridge. This is Bluestone country where the famous stones at Stonehenge originated. The area has many fascinating historical features. It lies in an unspoiled rural area, surrounded by farms, with many footpaths and bridleways and an abundance of wildlife. The nineteenth century stone farmhouse has been lovingly restored and comfortably furnished ensuring a warm welcome to this tranquil and relaxing family run hotel.

The cottages, also recently restored, are all double glazed centrally heated with modern kitchens. They have excellent bathrooms with power showers and offer all the comforts of home.

The restaurant, known for its good food, offers varied menus serving a la carte and Bistro meals and is open to the public. The restaurant operates a no smoking policy.
Gellifawr has a fine hand-crafted and well stocked bar. The mixture of traditional stone and wood together with a log burning fire and friendly staff all conspire to give you a warm welcome and ensure an enjoyable visit. Our bar also operates a no smoking policy.
Our private function room is the ideal location for that perfect wedding, special family occasion, or any other reason you can think of for getting together with a few friends. For your comfort our function room operates a no smoking policy.
