Carningli is a ground floor cottage. It has one bedroom with a double bed and a lounge that has a bed settee supplied with bed linen, pillows and duvets. Although the lounge can sleep one or two in the sofa bed, we can also provide a crib if required.

The well fitted kitchen and dining area is equipped with a TV, electric kettle, microwave, and an oven & hob. The bathroom has a power shower providing a refreshing and invigorating start for the day. It has been furnished with comfort and a home environment in view. Ideally suited to a couple looking for a comfortable break away from it all. A good base from which to walk the Mountain of the Angels! In summer the house martins, swifts and swallows all fly around the courtyard busy raising the next generation.

The view overlooks a landscaped central courtyard with an ornamental pond as a main feature. Outside are barbecue facilities with table & seating for those balmy summer evening meals.

Gellifawr Hotel and Cottages are located in the beautiful Gwaun Valley about four miles from the coast and beaches at Newport Sands. The area in which they are situated is designated a site of special scientific interest

Gellifawr is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, but is less than two and a half hours from the Severn Bridge. This is Bluestone country where the famous stones at Stonehenge originated. The area has many fascinating historical features. It lies in an unspoiled rural area, surrounded by farms, with many footpaths and bridleways and an abundance of wildlife. The nineteenth century stone farmhouse has been lovingly restored and comfortably furnished ensuring a warm welcome to this tranquil and relaxing family run hotel.

The cottages, also recently restored, are all double glazed centrally heated with modern kitchens. They have excellent bathrooms with power showers and offer all the comforts of home.

The restaurant, known for its good food, offers varied menus serving a la carte and Bistro meals and is open to the public. The restaurant operates a no smoking policy.
Gellifawr has a fine hand-crafted and well stocked bar. The mixture of traditional stone and wood together with a log burning fire and friendly staff all conspire to give you a warm welcome and ensure an enjoyable visit. Our bar also operates a no smoking policy.
Our private function room is the ideal location for that perfect wedding, special family occasion, or any other reason you can think of for getting together with a few friends. For your comfort our function room operates a no smoking policy.
