Trewinney is a delightful 17th century farmhouse full of olde-worlde charm, wonkey walls and floors, open fires one double room features a romantic four-poster bed. Set in 2 acres amidst Heligans outer estate, the harbour and village of Mevagissey is just a 10-15 minute stoll. All bedrooms have breathtaking seaviews whilst views from the bathroom offer the antics of the residents ducks, geese, chickens, rabbit, goat and cats. In the dining room sit by an open fire on the chillier mornings whilst enjoying a hearty Cornish breakfast. The coastal path is just 5 minutes walk away, the Lost Gardens of Heligan 2 minutes drive and Eden 20 minutes drive. Dogs welcome by arrangement.

    *** Alice's room is £60 per night
our largest double room, which has great charm and character, featuring the
Luxurious four-poster bed; original fireplace; wood panelling and a very sloping floor.
To complete the scene, superb sea views of St Austell Bay and Chapel Point are perfectly framed by the sash windows.
If desired, this room can take an extra bed to accommodate additional family members (phone for details).
Electric Under-blanket, Remote control colour t.v., Hair-dryer and tea/coffee facilities are included as standard.

    *** Abigail's room is £50 per night
Our second double room is slightly smaller than the other double room. It features the original wood beams to a lower ceiling, which gives a very cosy feeling to the room. The double bed is placed to enable you to sit up in bed and appreciate the superb sea views through the wide, small paned windows. Darkwood furniture and co-ordinated soft furnishings give the room a romantic feel, especially when the moonlight is reflected off the water of St Austell Bay!
Electric Under-blanket, Tea & Coffee facilities and remote control colour T.V. are included as standard.

*** Twin room is £50 per night
Our spacious twin room features the original fireplace; wood panalling and beams. A light but cosy atmosphere is created by the combination of pine furniture and luxurious soft furnishings. The sash windows focus your attention on the superb views of St Austell Bay and Chapel Point. Remote control colour T.V. and tea & coffee making facilities as standard.

*** Single room is £25.00 per night
Typical of most single room accommodation, our room is small but tastefully furnished, very cosy and offers stunning views of the sea and coast. Many of our guests while away the late evening watching the day close from the chair in front of the window.
Tea, Coffee and remote control colour T.V. are included.

    *** Bathroom
None of our rooms are en-suite! We will not spoil the "old world feel" of the farmhouse by attempting to provide en-suite facilities. Guests can use the electric shower in the warm and cosy bathroom. Or alternatively, you can take a bath that is fed directly from the cooking range which has plenty of steaming hot water available around the clock.
The bathroom window overlooks the rear lawn and orchard. Most mornings, the antics of our resident menagerie of ducks, geese and chickens will keep you amused.

    Breakfast time at Trewinney

When you wake in the morning, the aroma of freshly baked bread drifts through the farmhouse. Shortly afterwards, a suggestion of freshly made coffee is in the air. At this point you know it's time to go down for breakfast! Stephanie provides, what the majority of our guests would describe as, a truly hearty and traditional breakfast. We do believe in breakfasting like a king! A hearty breakfast sets you up for the day and gives you more time to enjoy your break! Vegetarians and vegans can be catered for. Please notify us if you have any particular dietry requirement.
