    Outside the lounge is a patio with a large table, 4 chairs and parasol so you can sit outside and enjoy a meal if you wish or just relax and admire the spectacular view. there are trellis planters either side of the patio to give you some privacy without spoiling your view.

    There a sensor operated light by the patio door for your safety at night, and the allocated parking is just a few yards away. There are large lawned areas for your children to play in safety.

    The chalet is available from 3.30pm on the day of arrival, and should be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. Mid-week and weekend breaks are sometimes available out of high season.

    OXWICH LEISURE PARK (March to October inc.)

    Set on a gently sloping hillside and peacefully overlooking the splendour of Oxwich Bay, this beautifully landscaped site lies on the edge of the lovely old village of Oxwich, only a few minutes walk from a clean sandy beach and National Nature Reserve, and surrounded by the magnificent Gower scenery which is so popular with walkers and nature lovers, although it is only about twenty minutes drive from Swansea.

    In the village is a General Store/Off Licence/Café and a lovely old church in the woods. With a patio garden on the edge of the bay, the Oxwich Bay Hotel, which is about five minutes walk from the chalet, serves good meals and snacks all day, all year round.

    :: The Gower Peninsula

    With its wonderful and varied landscape and scenic coatline, the Gower Peninsula was the first place in Britain to be designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' (AONB) by the Countryside Agency on behalf of the UK Government, and is one of only five within Wales. Not surprisingly, such an enclosed peninsula surrounded by the Bristol Sea and Atlantic Ocean, has become a haven for some of the richest wildlife and varied habitats in the UK, especially at the Oxwich Nature Reserve.

    Scattering the landscape are historic reminders of past 'Gowerians', from castles, medieval churches, iron age fortifications, and prehistoric standing stones. This is all set in an awe-inspiring natural backdrop of hills, valleys, beaches, clifftops, commons, woodland, dunes, marshes and caves. With its history, stretching back as far as Lower Paleolithic times (250,000 BC), long-established stories, whether folklore, legend or fact, are plentiful and furnish the rich and delightful tapestry of Gower.
