Derryclooney Lodge is a modern spacious self catering holiday home in the heart of Tipperary, Ireland on a working farm. Surrounded by the nearby Galtee Mountains and river Suir this 4 star holiday home can best be described as your home from home. Situated in a rural area access is via a 1km private driveway with spectacular views of Tipperary countryside and Galtee Mountains with access only for guests and the proprietors who live nearby.
This holiday home is approved by the Irish Tourist Board (ITB) and achieved the highest rating 4 stars. The river Suir flows within 400m of the bungalow and the river Suir is within the Farm bounderies. Great care is taken by the owners John and Emma O'Connor to insure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests. This includes a high standard of housekeeping and hospitality and they are always at hand if you have any queries or need assistance. This holiday home is the perfect place to relax and unwind in style from the stresses of everyday life. It is central to many tourist attractions in the South East and is the ideal base for your touring holiday.

This magnificant self catering accommodation is furnished and maintained to a high standard. Upon entering the spacious hallway you quickly relise the high quality of furnishings and accommodation.
Both bedrooms provide generous size ensuite facilities. One bedroom has a double and single bed with ensuite toilet, wash basin and bath also contains a walk-in wardrobe. The second bedroom contains a king size bed ensuite facilities including electric shower, toilet and wash basin. Both bedrooms are elegantly furnished with builtin maghony furniture. All bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge. A cot is availble on requist.
The sittingroom is tastefully furnished with quality furniture creating a warm cosy athmoshere. It features an open fireplace set in an oakwood period surround, T.V., video player, CD player, dining table and chairs with sofa and armchairs.
At the back of the house is the sunlounge. It contains dining table and chairs and lounge sofa. This sofa can convert into a bed which can accommodate one adult. The sunlounge opens out onto a well kept garden with patio and garden furniture. A barbacue is available for them warm Summer evenings.
The kitchen contains oakwood units and is fully equipped with full sets of cultery, delph and the everyday cooking utensils. It also contains oil fired range, electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee filter machine.
In the utility room you will find a washing machine dryer, itoning facilities, sink and cupbords, fridge and freezer. A hallway leads to toilet, porch ans side entrance. The heating in the house is provided by the oil fired Stanley range in the kitchen, guests can easily control the level of heating required.

(Caiseal Mumhan, The Stone Fort of Munster) - 8 miles. Seat of the high kings of Munster, with its landmark Rock of Cashel, this town boasts many international restaurants, quality shopping, friendly pubs and a welcoming atmosphere.
(Cathair Dhun Iascaigh, The Stone Fort of the Dún of the Fish) - 7 miles. The 15th century castle is a very popular visitor centre as is the Swiss Cottage designed by John Nash in 1815 as a hunting lodge for Lord Cahir. Cahir also has its share of good food and entertainment.
(Cluain Meala, The Meadow of Honey) - 10 miles. A lively cosmopolitan town on the banks of the river Suir, Clonmel has very good shopping and cuisine, live entertainment in the many pubs, cinema, theatre.
(Tiobraid Árainn, The Well of Ara) - 8 miles. This is an intimate market town in the heart of the Golden Vale with excellent sporting facilities, a heritage/genealogical centre, cinema, theatre and interpretive centre.
Glen of Aherlow
