Conveniently the M6 motorway is only 2 miles away from the Bel Air, and 15 minutes from junctions 5 & 6 of the M61.
Leave M6 at junction 27. Follow signs to Wigan to the main set of traffic lights in Standish. Turn right onto A49. Travel approximately 1 1/2 miles passing the Boars Head public house and 1/2 miles to the pedestrian lights. The Bel Air Hotel is on the right past the small park and before the roundabout and the Cherry Gardens public house.
