A very warm welcome awaits you at our recently refurbished 19th Century Farmhouse, set in 34 acres overlooking the Clwydian Hills.
Trefor Farm is an ideal base for a relaxing enjoyable break – we guarantee to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The Farm has been through major refurbishment over the last three years and has been sympathetically restored to create a welcoming place to stay with all the comforts of home.
It is a small working farm and you are welcome to take a look, at the cows, pigs, sheep, horses & everyone else that lives on the farm!
:: The Accommodation
We have three recently refurbished guest rooms, two doubles and one twin.
All our guest rooms have private entrances and have their own private bath / shower and toilet. Every room has a television, hairdryer & also tea & coffee making facilities.
We can also provide extra beds and a child’s cot & high chair. No charge will be made for children under five sharing a room with one or two adults, however a £5 charge per child per night will be made for children five years and over.
We also have a large private lounge area with log fire & a stock of books & games for your use.
Dogs can be accommodated in one of our stables or in the large dog run facility with a kennel. No charge is made for this.
We do not allow smoking in the rooms or lounge area but you can do so outside in the garden.
Off road parking.
Breakfast times are very flexible so if you want a lie in that is fine by us! We serve a buffet style breakfast & aim to provide anything you could wish for & we can also cater for special diets.
There a numerous places to eat in the vicinity from local pubs to hotels, all with good home produced food. We can recommend & book for you in advance if required.
We can provide a farmhouse evening meal using our own Pork, Lamb or Beef – please just let us know in advance of your arrival.
:: Surrounding Area
There are several woodland walks on our land including the Leete footpath that continues to Loggerheads Country Park & Moel Fammau. We are within easy reach of North Wales Coastal resorts & Snowdonia National Park. A perfect base for walking or cycling holidays – we even have a drying room for wet coats & shoes!
The Roman City of Chester is only a 20-minute drive away, Liverpool 40-minutes & Manchester 45-minutes. There are a host of historical, educational, cultural & fun attractions in our Borderlands area.
Mold Golf Course is a 10-minute walk from the farm (tee off times can be arranged for you in advance if required) & there are also other courses in the local area.
