  • ‘St Keverne’ Fowey - We are open all year round except for Christmas
‘St Keverne' overlooks the town giving rise to picturesque views of the Treffry estate and St Fimbarrus church. Ideally placed for exploring ‘Du Maurier country and Cornwall’s coastal path. We are also close to the ‘Eden project’ and the ‘Lost Gardens of Heligan’. If your interests lie in historic houses you may want to visit Lanhydrock House, the National Trusts Premier attraction, which again is only a short drive away.

Breakfast is served in our family dining room, which has a strong maritime feel, in keeping with Foweys own fishing and sailing history. We offer a choice of a light breakfast or something more substantial.

The ‘Du Maurier Room’ is dedicated to Daphne du Maurier and has pictures, books, videos and audio tapes of many of her novels. The bedroom is fully en suite and looks out over the town and on to the estuary beyond. Tea and tea/coffee making facilities are provided as well as TV and Video.
The ‘Hollywood Room’, wrapped in romance, boasts a four poster bed and many photos/wall plates depicting some of Hollywood’s greatest stars; Cary Grant & Marilyn Monroe are featured along with some of their best films on video. This fully en suite room also has TV, Video and tea/coffee making facilities.

Fowey has much to offer the visitor, there are many places of interest not only in the town but the surrounding area too. With Fowey's rich and varied history much can be learnt about the town by visiting the Museum or taking a guided walk on a Tuesday morning during the summer season.

We have listed some of the more prominent places that can be visited to give you a flavour of what there is on offer both in Fowey and the places that surround the town. The listing also includes information on attractions, houses, castles and gardens in the area.

If you are interested in finding out more before you visit the area then have a look at some of the local interest books available from 'The Shop', you can choose from a wide range with prices that start at 60 pence.

We are open all year round except for Christmas, and offer a discount of 10% on stays of 4 nights or more. Pets are accepted by prior arrangement.
