    The Beechwood is a beautifully refurbished guest house ideally situated for travellers from Prestwick Airport or for those visiting Ayr and Prestwicks award winning town centres. Placed in the centre of a golfers haven and only a few minutes away from Ayr Racecourse and Northfield bowling green.

    The Beechwood is unique in that it consists of two houses, one in which your hosts live and the other solely for guests. This gives you the independence of a Hotel at sensible guest house prices.

    Our lounge has been designed on the theme of a Mediterranean garden room and you will find it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a nice cup of coffee (or perhaps something stronger!).

    Many of our guest enjoy meeting with friends here. We offer a complete guest House let for only £220 per night low season £250 mid season and £280 High season. What a great room to catch up with friends and family on a reunion, over a glass of something cold. Stag and Hen parties are also welcome on a whole guest house let basis.

    Our spacious rooms are all en-suite and for your additional comfort and enjoyment have a hairdryer, television, tea and coffee facility, full-length mirror, luggage rack, central heating and easy chairs and table. We have worked hard designing the rooms and you should find them to be decorated to the highest standard and in excellent taste. You may also enjoy one of our sea view rooms looking straight across to the beautiful Isle of Arran. We also have alarm clocks in all our rooms, so don't worry you won't miss your flight!

    Delicious and nutritious! Our aim is to provide each and every one of our guests with what they really want and we are sure that our varied breakfast menu will do just that for you. You will find everything you could imagine ranging from cold meat and fruit platters to a typical Scottish fry-up of eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, and "tattie" scone. Our aim is to please and you won't be disappointed. Cooked breakfast service between 8 and 9 am.

    We are here to make your life easy and we have therefore set up a great self-serve continental breakfast system. So no matter how early your flight Takes off, you can be sure you won't leave us with an empty stomach!

    We Make Your Arrangements For You

    You are on holiday and that is not the time to worry or be stressed. Let us, for example, arrange you early departure taxi to the airport, or make sure you have a booking for a restaurant if you are arriving later than normal service times.

    Ayr and Prestwick have so much to offer. Right in the centre of Robert Burns country you are well positioned to visit many Burns attractions including Burns cottage, Land O'Burns, The Auld Kirk, and Brig O'Doon.

    A short drive away you can enjoy the unique experience of the famous Electric Brae, visit Culzean Castle and Country Park or pop in for coffee at the famous five star golfing Hotel, Turnberry.

    You are also close to Rozelle Art Gallery, the Gaiety Theatre, a three-screen cinema, Ten Pin Bowling Alley, Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre and Ice rink.

    A day trip to the Isle of Arran can be arranged and we are always on hand to help you with your route plan if you are touring Scotland.
