The Cottage Porlock - Accommodation on Exmoor cannot be found in more delightful surroundings than Porlock and Porlock Vale
Welcome to The Cottage - Angela and John welcome you to The Cottage, one of the oldest cottages in the ancient village of Porlock where we offer a high standard of accommodation, service and food. We are situated in the centre of the village, convenient to all restaurants, shops and pubs.
The Cottage has three bedrooms with en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have central heating, tea making facilities, and colour TV.
:: Bedroom 1: A double bedroom with en suite shower.
:: Bedroom 2: A double bedroom (5 ft bed) with en suite shower. This room can take an additional bed for a third person, or child. The TV is a 'combi' and has a built in VCR and a selection of videos is available.
:: Bedroom 3: Double (6 ft) or can be made up as twin beds, en suite bathroom with hand shower over bath taps.
A small courtyard garden is available for your use where you can sit on a summers evening for your sundowners! We can’t sell you the wine, but we will provide you with the glasses.

The Cottage is an excellent location for those walking the South West Coastal Path, or the Coleridge Way, and of course for exploring the Exmoor countryside.
Angela, having been born in the village, has good local knowledge to help you get the most out of your visit to Porlock, and has put together some 'days out by car' to capture the best of Exmoor and the surrounding area.

Accommodation on Exmoor cannot be found in more delightful surroundings than Porlock and Porlock Vale. Nestling at the foot of Porlock Hill at the western end of the Vale, Porlock is bounded to the north by its shingle ridge with breathtaking views over the Bristol Channel and to the south, by the rolling hills of the Exmoor National Park.
As a centre from which to walk or ride on Exmoor, Porlock is unsurpassed. Bring your mountain bike (or hire one) and cycle the trails of Exmoor. Shooting can be enjoyed close to the village, with regular shoots being organised by the National Trust and others. If you want to fish on your Exmoor Holiday, then Porlock can offer the choice of sea fishing from the Weir or alternatively the reservoirs and rivers of Exmoor are only a short and scenic drive away. As a golfer you can stay in Porlock and enjoy one of several courses on the edges of Exmoor, with the nearest being only 7 miles away.
